Eggtooth is a social enterprise: a not-for-profit service which works hard to cover as many of its own costs as it can.
However, without generous support from local people, companies and grantmakers we simply wouldn’t have the funds to deliver the volume of therapy sessions (2500+ last year alone) or the number of weekly support groups and creative mentoring programmes that we do.
Demand for our services is rising, and fast. Covid followed by the Cost of Living Crisis has placed even greater pressure on families living in Hastings & Rother. Early intervention is critical when it comes to mental health and extra funding will ensure we can help more young people and avoid long waiting lists.
There are lots of ways in which you can help Eggtooth grow. We appreciate times are tough and please know we are incredibly grateful for any support you can spare. Every penny raised goes directly to helping young people to overcome difficult issues and circumstances in their lives; to talk about painful emotions; to manage their anxieties; and to build their self-esteem.
Donations don’t always involve cash. Perhaps you or your workplace has a product/service it could gift to Eggtooth? For example, leaflet printing or marketing support. This wonderful website was designed by the company ifour for free and the difference it has made to Eggtooth has been immense: making more young people, parents and frontline staff aware of our services.

Challenges, adventures and fundraising events: Want to set yourself a personal challenge for 2023 – run a 5k race, climb a mountain, or cartwheel the length of Hastings Pier? Why not have the added incentive of being sponsored to keep your challenge on track.
Fundraising Events: Looking for an excuse to dust down your favourite fancy dress costume? Can’t wait to hit the dancefloor dressed as a giant egg? Why not organise a themed fundraiser for friends and family. We’d love to feature photos of your events and costumes on our facebook page!
School Fundraisers: Holding an event at school shortly? Perhaps a battle of the bands and would like to donate the ticket sales to a local group? Want to persuade your headteacher to hold a dress down day? Well, how could they say no if it’s helping Eggtooth!
Group Ideas: Looking for a guaranteed way to raise everybody’s spirits? Why not organise an office bake off and donate the proceeds from your cake sale to Eggtooth. Honestly, who doesn’t feel better after a slice of cake, a cup of tea and the knowledge you’ve helped your local community all in one go?
